Hello Fellow Oak Lawn Chamber of
Commerce Members,

I hope this message finds you well as we stride into the vibrant summer months. Our chamber has many wonderful initiatives taking place and I'm thrilled to share some exciting updates and highlights with you all.

Firstly, I'd like to extend my gratitude to all those who joined us for our recent breakfast meeting. It was a refreshing change of pace from our usual luncheons, and I appreciate everyone's flexibility and enthusiasm. Later this year, we’ll offer an evening format to try and reach those of you with busy daytime schedules.

In line with our commitment to bring more information to all members, I'm delighted to announce that this year we’ve incorporated board of director committee reports into our monthly networking meetings. This addition has not only fostered a deeper understanding of our chamber's initiatives but also new participation in our committees. Please continue to give us feedback to share the direction of our chamber.

I'd also like to extend a warm welcome to our newest members ( 16 since January). Whether you have questions or need support, please don't hesitate to reach out to me or any member of our board of directors. We're here to help in any way we can.

Our luncheon on May 14 is at the Hilton, sponsored by Moraine Valley Community College. We are partnering with our Oak Lawn Park District and hosting our New/Prospective Member Breakfast on May 15 and the June luncheon at beautiful Stony Creek Golf Course.

As we gear up for the summer season, I want to acknowledge the many businesses that will be extending job opportunities to students. Please share those job opportunities with the Oak Lawn Chamber office so we can help spread the word. Thank you for your commitment to the skill development of our youth.

Speaking of summer, get ready for some fantastic events! The Village of Oak Lawn will resume their popular Concerts on the Green and the annual Fourth of July parade will take place on June 29. Our very first Oak Lawn Chamber of Commerce Restaurant Week from June 12-26 will showcase the dining excellence within our membership. Plus, mark your calendars for our annual golf outing on July 10 at Stony Creek Golf Course. This year our golf event will honor Anne Marie Casey, a cherished chamber member whose legacy continues to inspire us. For more details on chamber happenings, just reach out to our chamber office.

In closing, I want to express my sincere appreciation for your ongoing support and dedication to our chamber. Together, we continue to shape the best chamber and wonderful opportunities for growth within our community.

See you around the Village!
Warmly,
Natasha
