Shop Oak Lawn & Santa on the Green
your business and shopping local at the same time, for free!
Small Business Saturday is Nov. 25 – the same day the Chamber will hold its
"Shop Oak Lawn" event in conjunction with the Village's Santa on the Green.
On Nov. 25 (as well as every day), we're encouraging
all Oak Lawn residents to shop small for all. The money spent in the community
can stay in the community to help Oak Lawn businesses grow and network.
Join the Chamber's campaign to shop local by spreading awareness of your
business at Shops of Oak Lawn to be held at the Oak Lawn Public Library. Chamber businesses are constantly giving back to the community, so there is no charge to be a vendor at this event. It's a cost-free opportunity
to showcase and sell your products and/or services to local residents! All vendors are encouraged to provide a children's activity or giveaways at their
table since this is a family event. Plus, you'll also increase foot traffic near your
table with a kid-friendly activity.
In addition to being a vendor, there are some other opportunities to be part
of this great event and initiative. Every community member who attends
"Shop Oak Lawn" on Nov. 25 from 12-3 PM will receive a Shopping Guide/Event Map. As a Chamber member, you can be listed in this Shopping Guide by noting something unique about your business or providing a coupon. Business cards will not be accepted. Attendees to the event will also receive a tote bag giveaway. You can have your fliers/brochures/freebies put into the bags that will be passed out to the event patrons. To be part of this great exposure chance for the shopping guide and tote bag giveaway, the cost is $25. Or you may donate socks to benefit the PADS shelters.
Shop local, support Oak Lawn businesses and make a difference. That's the message we're looking to send Nov. 25 and all throughout the holiday season. Hope you can be involved in "Shop Oak Lawn."
If you have additional questions, we'd love to talk with you more.
Thank you for your support!
